Dr. Matt Daggett, the founding member of Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, is a fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon in sports medicine and shoulder care.
Dr. Daggett was born and raised in Kansas City, MO. After graduating from University of Missouri-Columbia, Dr. Daggett received his degree from KCU and MBA from Rockhurst University. He completed his orthopedic residency in Kansas City, a sports fellowship at the American Sports Medicine Institute with Dr. Lemak in Birmingham, AL and a shoulder fellowship with Dr. Gilles Walch and Dr. Lionel Neyton in Lyon, France.
Dr. Daggett is an active researcher in his orthopedic field and an expert in injury prevention, knee ligament injuries and rotator cuff disease and treatment. He is the only American member of the International SANTI research group on sports medicine injuries and team doctor for Avila University. He also serves on the Sports Medicine Advisory Committee of the Missouri State High School Activities Association.
As an active member of the Kansas City community, Dr. Daggett is dedicated to helping athletes and others who suffer an injury get back on the field or back to their daily life. He understands that a pain in your back, pop in your knee or even wrist pain can take you out of the game. Regardless of if your game is football or wrangling kids, feeling great and pain free is a must.
Our physician, and entire staff, are dedicated to providing each of our patients with the most appropriate and complete treatment for the injuries they suffer. Dr. Daggett’s highest priority is ensuring each patient he treats in Kansas City is comfortable and confident in the treatment path created for their unique problem or injury.
Jenna Batchelder is a Physician Assistant at Advanced Orthopedics & Sports Medicine.
A native of Saint Louis, MO, Jenna is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia with her Masters in Occupational Therapy, where she practiced in the therapy setting for 2 years. She went on to pursue a degree as a Physician Assistant from Missouri State University and graduated in 2011. Batchelder joins the team at AOSM with a wealth of experience. Jenna works with patients of all ages and orthopedic complications.
Dr. Kevin Witte is a Board Certified orthopedic surgeon practicing in Advanced Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Overland Park, KS location.
A native of Windsor, MO, Dr. Witte attended obtained his undergraduate degree from University of Missouri-Columbia. He attended medical school at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, while obtaining an MBA from Rockhurst University. He would complete a fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine at the Andrews Research & Education Institute in Gulf Breeze, FL, working under the leadership of world renowned orthopedic surgeon, Dr. James Andrews. During his sports medicine fellowship, he would learn the latest techniques in the treatment of knee injuries, elbow complications, and shoulder conditions in athletes of all ages.
Dr. Witte’s interests include athletic injury prevention and injuries of the throwing athlete.
Dr. Tim Roberts is a Board Eligible orthopedic surgeon practicing at Advanced Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Lee’s Summit, MO location.
A native of St. Louis, MO, Dr. Roberts obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri – Columbia. He attended medical school at Touro University Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine in Henderson, NV. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery through Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and St. Mary’s Medical Center.
Dr. Roberts interests include injury prevention, general orthopedics, fracture care, knee injuries, as well as hip arthroscopy and replacement surgeries.
